VIDEO: Young fan takes selfie with Lionel Messi after Argentina's Copa America loss
How's your heart? Feeling good? Pumping away? Fair warning: It's about to be broken.
Following Argentina's loss on penalties to Chile in Saturday's Copa America final, Argentine megastar Lionel Messi - the only player on his team to score in the 4-1 shootout loss - was approached by a young Chilean fan in search of a once-in-a-lifetime moment with the best footballer on earth.
He got it.
For the lucky youngster, it was likely a beautiful occasion. But it's impossible not to feel for Messi, who had just suffered a second-consecutive crushing defeat with the Albiceleste - after last summer's loss to Germany in the World Cup final.
His dream of a first international title with Argentina was just crushed, and he's still out here making a child's dream come true. It's touching as it is heartbreaking.
