The record-tying goal came in the 60th minute of Argentina's fixture against Venezuela, when Messi poked the ball through Daniel Hernandez's legs upon receiving a pass from Nicolas Gaitan. It also marked the diminutive figure's fourth goal of the Copa America Centenario, meaning he stands alone atop the standings in the golden-boot race.
