Petr Cech: Struggles against top-level competition
Cech gave up two goals and had just two saves in Arsenal's loss to Barcelona on Tuesday in the Champions League Round of 16.
Analysis:
Cech headed into the match Tuesday having never allowed a goal to Messi, and it seemed like it could continue until a counterattack from Barcelona left him exposed as Messi faked out Cech for the first goal of the game. After that, Cech's defense let him down once again as they took Messi down in the box to give him a penalty kick. Ultimately Cech guessed wrong on the penalty kick and gave up his second goal of the game.
