Aleksandr Kerzhakov, Zenit St. Petersburg's all-time leading scorer, will see out his contract in Switzerland.
On Friday, Zenit announced that the Russian forward will join Zurich on loan once the January transfer window opens, and will remain there until June 30.
Kerzhakov, who has scored 161 goals through 368 appearances for Zenit, hasn't featured in the Russian Premier League this season after falling out of favour with manager Andre Villas-Boas.
