Wayne Rooney: Could face PSV
Rooney could be available for Wednesday's Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven after missing Saturday's Premier League match against Watford with an illness, manager Louis van Gaal said. "I expect that he shall play Wednesday, but you never know, I do not know the development of the illness," van Gaal said. "Today he is at home, we gave him a day off to heal the illness; tomorrow he comes and I can say more."
Analysis:
Memphis Depay started Saturday, as Anthony Martial (foot) was also sidelined for the Watford match, and the Dutch youngster scored the opener for United after being stuck on the bench for the past few weeks. Rooney is likely to slot right back into the starting lineup if he's fit Wednesday, though it's unclear who will be partnering him in the attack.
