Juan Mata: Rested in Champions League
Mata was dropped on the bench in the Champions League draw with CSKA Moscow on Wednesday because he needed a rest, revealed manager Louis van Gaal.
Analysis:
Mata was subbed at half time on Saturday against Everton and did not play on Wednesday against CSKA Moscow but United boss van Gaal clarified that those moves are not injury related and he just wanted to give the Spaniard a breather before the big clash with their city rivals. Expect Mata to be right back in the starting XI on Sunday.
