Petr Cech will get his first start between the sticks in a Champions League match this season when Arsenal hosts Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

Amid a dreadful start to Arsenal's campaign, manager Arsene Wenger confirmed Cech will replace David Ospina in a move designed to help the team avoid losing a third straight match following the Colombian's poor performances against Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiacos.

The move, however, was not a decision based on form, as Wenger revealed Ospina is out with an injury.

"Ospina is out injured. He has already been out. He came back from Colombia with a shoulder problem and he is out," Wenger told reporters.

Wenger also confirmed defender Gabriel Paulista will be available for the encounter after overcoming an injury.
