VIDEO: Pedro's 115th-minute goal lifts Barcelona to 5th UEFA Super Cup
Six years ago, Pedro, then 22 years old, scored an extra-time winner in the 115th minute, allowing Barcelona to defeat Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Super Cup.
Some things never change.
Following 90 minutes of end-to-end football that saw the Catalan club surrender a three-goal lead in the second half, extra time was required to settle Tuesday's UEFA Super Cup between Barcelona and Sevilla.
And once again, it was Pedro who came through to score the winning goal, slotting home a rebound in the 115th minute after Beto denied Lionel Messi with a one-handed stop.
Of course, there's the possibility Pedro's goal was the last he'll ever score for Barcelona. Amid reports that he is being targeted by Manchester United, manager Luis Enrique recently claimed that such a move would ultimately be decided by the player, saying, "Any changes will be dictated by him."
For now, however, Barcelona supporters will be hoping Pedro takes the pitch Aug. 23 for its first La Liga fixture of the season at Athletic Bilbao.
