James Milner will have nightmares about Lionel Messi for weeks after the Argentine played the Manchester City midfielder like a fiddle.
The Barcelona superstar destroyed Milner in the first half of the second leg of their round of 16 matchup when he nutmegged the City player to get out of a tight space on the sidelines. Milner subsequently ended up on his backside.
It was one of many nutmegs executed by Messi in the first half of play. Even his former manager Pep Guardiola couldn't contain his excitement following the slick move.
David Silva took it upon himself to send a message when he took Messi out with a cynical challenge, earning himself a yellow card in the process.
