VIDEO: Suarez doubles Barcelona's lead after woeful defending from Manchester City
Blame it on Vincent Kompany. Blame it on Manchester City's uncharacteristic 4-4-2. Either way, Barcelona appear to be heading to the quarterfinals of the Champions League after only a half hour of play at the Etihad Stadium.
Echoing the atrocious defending that led to Luis Suarez's first goal of the match, City gifted the Uruguayan cannibal with his second in the 30th minute, allowing Barcelona to take a 2-0 lead into the interval.
After five players converged toward Lionel Messi in panicked fashion, the Argentine phenom played a clever pass out wide to Jordi Alba, who was given all the time in the world to play a ball across the face of goal that Suarez merely needed to tap past Joe Hart.
Suarez appears to be more comfortable taking on City in a Barcelona shirt than he ever was while featuring for Liverpool.
