After much speculation, Manchester City confirmed that they will be without talisman and leading scorer Sergio Aguero for at least the next month.
Aguero suffered the injury in the early minutes of Sunday's 1-0 victory over Everton, leaving the pitch in tears after he overstretched his leg and came down awkwardly on the turf.
The Argentine leads the Citizens with 19 goals in all competitions this season, and has scored a remarkable 30 goals in his last 33 Premier League matches.
To say he will be missed is obviously an understatement, though with such a talented squad, manager Manuel Pellegrini is correct in his assertion that losing one player should not throw their season into ruins.
Even if it is Aguero.
