Even a man down, though, the German giants proved that they're simply too talented - despite a rash of injuries - to ever be considered out of any match, regardless of the opponent.

All they need is the tiniest of openings. Hart gave Xabi Alonso exactly that on this free kick.

It was clever from the Spaniard to see the gaping hole beside the wall, but Hart simply needs to position himself better.
