VIDEO: Manuel Neuer makes incomprehensible save against Roma
Reuters
Bayern Munich is among the most difficult sides in the world to break down, largely because they have the ball so often that creating a scoring chance against them is, by definition, nearly impossible.
Roma is learning that lesson the hard way today at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Italian side is being absolutely battered by the German champions, and went into the half-time interval trailing 5-0. They were better coming out of the break, finally crafting some openings and getting a look at goal.
That's all well-and-good, except for the fact that once you create a chance, Manuel Neuer is standing in the way.
Saving that shot is one (remarkable) thing. Holding onto it is simple wizardry.
Update: Roma has scored. Neuer is human.
