Barcelona to honor Tito Vilanova prior to Saturday's match vs. Getafe

Barcelona announced that it will use Saturday's home match against Getafe to pay one final tribute to former manager Tito Vilanova, who passed away last week after a lengthy battle with throat cancer.
The players will wear a commemorative shirt with the words 'Tito, per sempre etern' (Tito, forever eternal) emblazoned across the chest.

The club added that a video tribute will run on the scoreboard prior to kick-off, and a "huge banner" will also be unfurled within the stadium in honor of the late manager.
Vilanova served as an assistant during the most successful spell in team history before assuming the leading role and capturing a league title in his lone year as boss (2012).
