Lisbon, Feb 15, 2022 (AFP) - Manchester City crushed Sporting Lisbon 5-0 in their Champions League last 16 first leg tie in Portugal on Tuesday.

Bernardo Silva hit a brace as City took control in a dominant first half when Riyad Mahrez and Phil Foden were also on target.

Raheem Sterling added a fifth just before the hour to put the Premier League leaders well on their way to the quarter-finals.
