Report: Pogba deal not feasible for Real Madrid

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez informed Zinedine Zidane on Wednesday that a deal for Paul Pogba would be "very difficult" to reach, sources told ESPN FC's Rodrigo Faez and Dermot Corrigan.

With signings totaling more than €300 million this summer, Madrid are apparently uneasy about pursuing another big transfer before the window closes at the end of August.

It would take a lot for Madrid to pry Pogba from Manchester United's grasp. The Red Devils reportedly believe Pogba is worth in excess of £150 million (€166 million), which is significantly more than what they paid to re-sign the Frenchman from Juventus in 2016.

Despite agent Mino Raiola's efforts to secure a move away from Old Trafford, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told reporters that the club is under no pressure to sell the 26-year-old.

Pogba has so far blocked out the noise, joining United on their preseason tour and scoring in a recent win over Leeds United.
