Dour Champions League final put Twitter to sleep
If you made it through all 90 minutes of Saturday's Champions League final, congratulations.
Liverpool ultimately defeated Tottenham 2-0 in Madrid to capture their sixth European Cup - third-most all time - but it was a slog. The opening stanza was littered with more misplaced passes than shots, and until Spurs pushed for a late equalizer, the second half largely fell flat as well.
Naturally, Twitter took notice.
Theresa May should apologise for this tonight

That game was pretty much what a Liverpool and Spurs game looks like with fewer goals. It’s always sloppy and hectic.
