Keita, Henderson ruled out of Red Star clash; Mane in contention to return

Sadio Mane, who's missed one match with a thumb injury, could make an appearance during Liverpool's Champions League clash with Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday. However, Naby Keita and Jordan Henderson have been ruled out with hamstring injuries.

"Sadio looked good in training the last two days. He trained completely normal, so if nothing happens he should be at least in contention," manager Jurgen Klopp told a news conference Tuesday. "I learned that word a second ago, actually. That's good.

"Naby and Hendo will not be available. Naby is in a good way already, outside running, but we see day by day."

After following up their opening-match victory against Paris Saint-Germain with a disappointing loss to Napoli, Liverpool will be eager to get their Champions League campaign back on track at Anfield against a Red Star Belgrade team that's only collected one point from their opening two matches.
