Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny: Undergoing scans on Achilles injury
Koscielny will undergo scans on his injured Achilles on Tuesday to help determine the severity of the injury, according to manager Arsene Wenger. "It's an Achilles problem," Wenger said. "If he's ruptured a few fibres of his tendon, it could be a few weeks. If it's just an inflammation, he could maybe be available for selection next week against Crystal Palace."
Analysis:
Gabriel is expected to slot into Koscielny's starting centre-back spot, while Per Mertesacker should be available off the bench.
