Wenger: Koscielny fit to face PSG despite eye injury
An eye injury won't prevent Laurent Koscielny from taking part in Arsenal's Champions League opener against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.
Gunners manager Arsene Wenger confirmed his apprehensions when the French defender sustained the knock against Southampton on Saturday, but expects Koscielny to suit up for the Group A opener at the Parc des Princes.
"Koscielny is alright. he had a big knock on his face," Wenger told reporters at a press conference Monday. "I was concerned he wouldn't be available but it is alright."

Koscielny allayed fears earlier in the day when he took part in regular training with the rest of the squad.

The France international, who scored an equaliser before Santi Cazorla's penalty conversion secured the win, took a hit to the face during the final minutes of the encounter.
