Watch: Dundalk's Robbie Benson produces right-footed bullet at Legia Warsaw
Dundalk continues to make Irish football proud.
On Tuesday, in the second leg of the tie between Dundalk and Legia Warsaw in the Champions League's play-offs, Robbie Benson gave life to the Lilywhites in the 19th minute, rocketing a right-footed shot past Arkadiusz Malarz that was missed by anyone who blinked.
Dundalk, this year's League of Ireland Premier Division champion, defeated BATE Borisov 3-1 on aggregate in the Champions League's third qualifying. The achievement was one of the greatest-ever accomplishments by an Irish club and guaranteed that the Lilywhites will, at the very least, participate in the Europa League.
Benson's goal cut Legia's lead to one goal, but the Polish club ultimately advanced, scoring once more for a 3-1 victory on aggregate.
