Analysis:

The fullback was quite productive on the offensive end, but injuries, inconsistent defensive play and the presence of Dani Carvajal cost him a significant chunk of playing time over the course of the year. Danilo underwent heel surgery after the season and will not partake in any of this summer's international play, but he is expected to be back in action in mid-July.
