Arsenal's Danny Welbeck: Status unclear for Euros
Welbeck's status for this summer's European Championships are up in the air after coming off in the 21st minute with a knee injury, Jamie Jackson of The Guardian reports.
Analysis:
Welbeck, who relatively recently returned to the squad after a lengthy layoff due to a knee injury, had led the line for the Gunners while Olivier Giroud lay fallow. Alongside Jamie Vardy, Welbeck was in line to contribute up front for England at the Euros, but now his health is certainly a factor as to his availability for the tournament.
