Fort McMurray, AB - Trevor Harris broke a 10-10 tie with a short touchdown pass to Vidal Hazelton midway through the third quarter, and the Toronto Argonauts, led by their backup quarterback, ran to a 26-11 victory in their 2015 season debut against the Edmonton Eskimos at SMS Equipment Stadium at Shell Place.

Harris, who is filling in for regular starter Ricky Ray, had a sensational outing for the Argos (1-0) in just his second CFL start ever. Harris threw for three touchdowns and completed an outstanding 24-of-27 through the air for 347 yards.

Ray, who led the league last season with 4,595 yards passing and 28 TDs, is on the six-game injured list after undergoing offseason shoulder surgery.

A first-quarter touchdown pass from Edmonton (0-1) quarterback Mike Reilly to Kenny Stafford that went for 26 yards put the Eskimos up for a short period of time, 7-3. But Harris erased that deficit on his next attempt, hitting Brandon Whitaker for a 57-yard scoring strike.

With the Toronto Blue Jays playing at the Rogers Centre, and FIFA Women's World Cup action at Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium, the teams met at Fort McMurray.
