The Montreal Alouettes signed former No. 1 overall pick Faith Ekakitie to a one-year contract, the team announced Thursday.
The national defensive lineman was the first overall selection by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 2017 Canadian Draft, and went on to play 14 games for Winnipeg in his rookie year before being released late last week.
