One day after trading for Zach Collaros from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, the Saskatchewan Roughriders have released veteran quarterback Kevin Glenn.
Glenn played in 17 games with Saskatchewan last season, throwing for 4,038 yards and 25 touchdowns against 15 interceptions. The 38-year-old has played for six of the nine teams in the CFL, including three different stints with the Roughriders.
Backup quarterback Brandon Bridge, who saw time in 12 games last season, signed a one-year extension a couple weeks ago to remain with the club. That move, along with the trade for Collaros, essentially signaled the end for Glenn in Saskatchewan.
