The BC Lions traded wide receiver Chris Williams to the Montreal Alouettes on Tuesday for defensive end Gabriel Knapton.
Williams is coming off an injury-riddled campaign but has four 1,000-yard seasons under his belt. The 30-year-old had 38 catches for 415 yards and a touchdown in nine appearances for BC in 2017.
Knapton posted three sacks for the Alouettes this year after racking up 29 over his first three seasons. The 28-year-old spent his first four CFL seasons in Montreal.
