Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Matt Nichols will miss his team's regular season finale against the Calgary Stampeders on Friday, head coach Mike O'Shea told team play-by-play commentator Bob Irving of AM680 CJOB on Monday.
Nichols left Saturday's loss to the BC Lions with a lower-body injury and did not return.
O'Shea did not announce who will start in Nichols' place. Both backups - Dan LeFevour and Dominique Davis - saw time on Saturday after Nichols was injured, though neither player excelled.
Winnipeg can clinch the second seed in the West Division with a win on Friday, but a loss and an Edmonton Eskimos win would bump them down to third.
