Johnny Manziel is reportedly forcing the Hamilton Tiger-Cats to make up their mind about him quickly.

On Wednesday, the former Cleveland Browns quarterback activated the 10-day window that requires the CFL club to sign, trade, or release him before it expires, according to TSN's Dave Naylor.

The move is necessary because Manziel is on the Tiger-Cats' negotiation list and must go through the 10-day process before he can potentially join another team.

The 24-year-old worked out for the club in Buffalo in August, but Hamilton ultimately decided against signing him at the time. Since working him out, the Tiger-Cats have gone on a two-game winning streak after starting the season 0-8.

New Hamilton coach June Jones recruited Manziel out of high school in Texas when he was the coach at SMU.

Manziel last played in the NFL during the 2015 season with Cleveland, throwing for 1,500 yards and seven touchdowns.
