The Edmonton Eskimos are undefeated no more.

Edmonton couldn't mount a fourth-quarter rally and ultimately fell to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 33-26. The loss dropped their record to 7-1 on the season.

The Bombers led the entire way before Edmonton closed the gap to 30-23 in the fourth, but a late Justin Medlock field goal sealed the deal.

The Eskimos would respond with a field goal of their own, but a subsequent onside kick failed and ended any hope of a miracle comeback.

Winnipeg quarterback Matt Nichols out-dueled Mike Reilly in this one, going 32-of-40 for 390 yards and a touchdown.

Blue Bombers running back Andrew Harris stole the show, though, eclipsing the century mark in both rushing and receiving. Harris rushed for 105 yards and caught eight passes for 120 yards.

Medlock was his usual reliable self for Winnipeg, going 4-of-5 on field goals, including the aforementioned clincher with under two minutes to play.

Edmonton will try to rebound from its first loss when they take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders next week, while the Blue Bombers will meet the Montreal Alouettes.
