CFL fines Bo Levi Mitchell for violating social media policy

The CFL flexed it's disciplinary muscles Wednesday, announcing that Calgary Stampeders star Bo Levi Mitchell has been fined for violating the league's social media policy.
The dollar figure was not disclosed as per league policy, nor was there any clarification on what action brought about the fine.
Mitchell did, however, give a brief response via Twitter, replying to a fan's plea to keep on with his social media activity:
Minutes later, Mitchell, who has maintained a consistently active presence on Twitter, had this to say:
Whether or not it was a direct follow-up to the reaction surrounding his fine, it doesn't appear Mitchell will be taking any sort of social media sabbatical anytime soon.
