Vince Young's return to professional football will have to wait a bit longer, as Saskatchewan Roughriders head coach Chris Jones told Ian Hamilton of Riderville.com that the quarterback will miss 4-6 weeks with a hamstring tear.

The former college star at Texas spent nine seasons in the NFL and is attempting a comeback with the CFL outfit. He signed in March and was expected to compete for the starting job before suffering the injury in practice.

With Kevin Glenn, Brandon Bridge, and Bryan Bennett on the roster the Roughriders have some depth at the quarterback position, and it remains to be seen how the injury will affect Young's long-term chances of remaining with the club.
