After a comeback attempt yielded seven appearances in 2015 and a year on the Toronto Argonauts' practice roster, 2012 Grey Cup MVP Chad Kackert is calling it a career.
The 30-year-old enjoyed a fair amount of success over the first three years of his CFL career, rushing for a career-high 628 yards and five touchdowns in 2012.
An ankle injury in 2013 forced him to retire before the 2014 season, and he was only able to rush for 235 yards on 39 carries after coming back in 2015, which proved to be his last season.
He rushed for a total of 1,702 yards and 13 touchdowns on 267 carries during his career.
