Bayern Munich's supporters can brief a deep sigh of relief.
After it was reported that Javi Martinez could miss "weeks" with a knee injury suffered during Bayern's victory over Hoffenheim, the versatile Spaniard took to Twitter to downplay concerns and announce that'll he'll soon be back on the pitch.
Martinez's ailment adds to an injury list that includes the likes of Jerome Boateng, Medhi Benatia, and Rafinha, leaving Bayern with only one healthy centre-back in Holger Badstuber.
After tearing his anterior cruciate ligament in the 2014 DFL-Supercup, Martinez was limited to only one Bundesliga appearance last season and returned in September.
