Manuel Neuer makes 300th Bundesliga appearance

Manuel Neuer joined an elite class of goalkeepers Saturday after making his 300th Bundesliga appearance.

The 29-year-old, who will captain Bayern Munich for the 13th time in his illustrious career, becomes the fourth netminder in league history to reach the milestone.

Neuer is also one clean sheet shy of registering his 143rd in Germany's top flight, a mark that's only been surpassed by three 'keepers.
