Alexander Zorniger dismissed as manager of Stuttgart
A total of 15 matches is all Alexander Zorniger was afforded at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
On Tuesday, the German tactician was sacked as manager of VfB Stuttgart, bringing his time at the club to a premature end after he put pen to paper on a three-year contract back in May. Jurgen Kramny, the coach of Stuttgart's under-23 side, will take charge of the team in a caretaker role.

Along with Zorniger, whose dismissal comes three days after Stuttgart suffered a humiliating 4-0 defeat at home to Augsburg, co-trainers Andre Trulsen and Armin Reutershahn, and goalkeeper trainer Andreas Menger were also relieved of their positions with immediate effect.
From Stuttgart's official statement:
In particular the manner of last Saturday’s defeat has preoccupied us. We took to analysing the effects on the team and the coaching staff, we evaluated our findings and drew our conclusion this morning.
Zorniger shares a deep-rooted connection with Stuttgart, as the club hails from the region in which he was born.
