Vladimir Darida joins Hertha Berlin from Freiburg on 4-year deal

Vladimir Darida won't be joining SC Freiburg in 2. Bundesliga next season.
Hertha Berlin announced Saturday that the 24-year-old midfielder joined the club from Freiburg and put pen to paper on a four-year contract.

Darida notched six goals and one assist through 31 Bundesliga appearances last season as Freiburg was relegated.
"After talking to the responsible parties it was clear that I only wanted to come here," Darida explained. "To play in Berlin at the Olympiastadion in front of the enthusiastic Hertha fans is exciting and challenging."
