1. FC Koln are set to lose their top scorer at the end of the season, as the club announced Tuesday that 24-year-old striker Anthony Ujah will be joining SV Werder Bremen on a four-year deal.
Ujah, who holds 10 Bundesliga goals and three assists to his name this season, is about to complete his third campaign at Koln having joined the club in 2012-13 on a one-year loan deal from FSV Mainz 05 that eventually became a permanent move.
He made his 100th appearance for Koln in their scoreless draw versus FC Augsburg on Saturday, and his lethal partnership in attack with Patrick Helmes is a key reason why Peter Stoger's side aren't returning to 2. Bundesliga at the end of the season.
