Bayern Munich's Javi Martinez returns to full training after 8-month absence
Everything is coming up Bayern.
Fresh off the back of their incredible 6-1 destruction of FC Porto to reach the semifinals of the Champions League on Tuesday, the German club have received some more good news, announcing Wednesday that midfielder Javi Martinez has resumed full training.
The Spaniard, 26, has not taken part in a training session with his teammates in roughly eight months, watching from the sidelines while recovering from a torn ACL that he suffered against Borussia Dortmund in a German Super Cup match last August.
"It’s just fantastic! I’m overjoyed," Martinez said of his progress, before warning that there is still much to do before he can return to competitive action. "I know I have a lot of work ahead of me yet."

"They were cheering and clapping for me. I guess they’re all delighted for me," the midfielder added, speaking of his teammates' response upon seeing him step out for the session.
