Jurgen Klopp: 'I am not on a farewell tour'
Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp isn't one for goodbyes.
One day after he announced that he'll be leaving the Westfalenstadion at the end of the season, Klopp stressed that he's still focused on Dortmund's six remaining Bundesliga fixtures and doesn't want his exit from the club to be a distraction.
"I am not on a farewell tour and I expect a fully competitive atmosphere on Saturday," Klopp said, according to the Guardian. "Today it was training as usual. When I told the team (of my decision) there was no applause."
Klopp's decision to step down will bring an end to his seven-year tenure as manager of Dortmund, during which time he won two Bundesliga titles, a DFB-Pokal title, and guided the club to the Champions League final in 2012-13.
