Borussia Dortmund commence 'No Beer for Racists' campaign with 1 million beermats
Beer and Nazism do not mix.
Borussia Dortmund have launched a "No Beer for Racists" campaign that involves supplying local pubs with a total of one million beermats, in an attempt to counter the right-wing politics that plague the city in which they play.

In addition to the distribution of beermats, the campaign kicked off Tuesday with a statement on Dortmund's official website, which included the message: "Borussia, beer - and Nazis? It does not fit!"
The city of Dortmund has developed a reputation for its right-wing political scene, and this isn't the first stance the club have taken on the issue, as bans have been imposed on supporters who give the Nazi salute and shout "Sieg Heil."
