Everyone loves a goal-scoring 'keeper.
In a surreal scene at SGL arena on Saturday, Augsburg salvaged a point against Bayer Leverkusen when 'keeper Marwin Hitz made his way down the pitch and scored a 94th-minute equaliser to level the score at 2-2.
After substitute Shawn Parker sent a dangerous cross into the box that took a deflection, Hitz found himself in the right place at the right time. He slotted the bouncing ball past fellow 'keeper Bernd Leno, who probably never expected to see Hitz inside his own 6-yard box.
It's been nearly 13 years since a 'keeper last scored from open play in the Bundesliga.
Marwin Hitz (FC Augsburg) is the first goalkeeper to score a Bundesliga goal from open play (no penalty) since Frank Rost on 31 March 2002.
