Bayern Munich's David Alaba expected to be available vs. Wolfsburg
One of the best clubs in the world is about to get better with news that David Alaba is reportedly available for Bayern Munich's first match after the winter break.
The Austrian footballer has been a full participant in the team's training sessions abroad and could feature in Bayern Munich's Jan. 30 clash with Wolfsburg.
"If it was the Champions League final tomorrow, he’d play," manager Pep Guardiola told reporters, as transcribed by the team's website. "We’re asking him about his knee every day and it’s all great.
"We’re a better team if we have him. He can play anywhere, it’s outstanding! On a scale from one to 10 he’s always an eight or nine, sometimes a 10. He’s one of Bayern’s most important players."
Alaba's been sidelined since early November after tearing his MCL, which required surgery, in a Champions League match against Roma.
