Bayern Munich really know how to toy with their opposition's emotions.
Mainz took a shocking lead in the first half of their fixture against the defending Bundesliga champions on Friday, but Bayern quickly brought them back down to earth and ensured that the joy was short-lived.
Extremely short-lived.
In fact, it literally lasted only a matter of seconds as Bastian Schweinsteiger found an equalizer almost immediately by curling home a stunning free kick off the post in what was his first goal of the season.
Schweinsteiger doesn't score often, but when he does, it's usually the result of a free kick.
2 - Bayern Munich's Bastian Schweinsteiger scored 2 of his last 4 Bundesliga goals with a direct freekick. Precision.
