Arjen Robben to build museum honouring Arjen Robben
Arjen Robben has decided to open a museum celebrating his own successes in club and world football.
The museum, however, will be private, and located in his own home.
The Bayern Munich star said he'd like to showcase various types of memorabilia, including shoes, jerseys and trophies, once he retires from the game.
"When my wife and I are settled in our house, I dream of collecting all my things and building a private museum. It will be for me, my family and my close friends," Robben said to Bild, via Agence France-Presse.
"I have so many souvenirs - shirts of other players. I kept the ball from the 2013 Champions League final"
The ball from the 2013 Champions League final will be especially important to the Dutch international since he scored the winning goal that helped Bayern Munich capture the title against Borussia Dortmund.
"The idea is to pull everything together so that nothing is lost."
