With the signing of French midfielder Benjamin Stambouli now official, Tottenham made a corresponding move on Monday to maintain the balance in their squad.
Lewis Holtby has joined Bundesliga side Hamburg on a one-year loan with a view to a permanent transfer.

Holtby, 23, joined Spurs in a £1.5-million move from Schalke in January 2013, scoring just once in 25 Premier League appearances before being loaned to Fulham for the second half of last season.
