Champions League final hero Kingsley Coman is self-isolating at home three days before Bayern Munich kick off their Bundesliga campaign against Schalke, the club announced Tuesday.

"The 24-year-old attacker has been in contact with a person infected with the coronavirus and is in now undertaking a period of isolation at home," Bayern's statement read.

Bayern confirmed that Coman had a coronavirus test Sunday that produced a negative result, and that the player will now participate in "remote virtual training sessions" at home.

Coman, who scored the match-winner in last month's Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain, is unlikely to feature versus Schalke at the Allianz Arena on Friday.

The Bundesliga announced Tuesday a six-week plan that would permit the 18 stadiums in the German top flight to fill to 20% capacity. The plan requires a seven-day coronavirus infection rate lower than or equal to 35 per 100,000 people in the respective regions.

Bayern can open their doors for up to approximately 15,000 spectators for Friday's clash in the Bavarian capital.
