Watch: Will Ferrell begs Chicharito to join LAFC

Will Ferrell stopped short of kicking and screaming during his attempt to convince Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez to join Los Angeles FC ahead of the Major League Soccer team's inaugural season.

The comedian did, however, beg the Mexican forward, who plays for Bayer Leverkusen, to consider the offer despite Ferrell's unwillingness to pay him.

Ferrell, who is a part-owner of the team, also attempted to persuade Chicharito with a sales pitch in Spanish.
