Bayern's Ribery, Thiago to be rested during Koln match

Bayern Munich will be without Franck Ribery and Thiago Alcantara in its match against FC Koln.
The Bundesliga leaders announced that both will best rested as a "precautionary measure" as they attempt to recover from minor injuries.
Bayern didn't reveal the exact nature of either player's knock. Both featured in Tuesday's Champions League loss to Atletico Madrid, and appeared to come away from the match unscathed.
Meanwhile, despite also starting Tuesday, the likes of Jerome Boateng, Arturo Vidal, Philipp Lahm, Thomas Muller, and David Alaba will begin Saturday's match on the bench as manager Carlo Ancelotti rotates his team in search of a sixth straight win to start the Bundesliga season.
