Champions League play-off draw: Porto locks horns with Roma, City faces Steaua

The field for the 2016-17 Champions League took another step toward completion Friday, as the draw for the play-offs - the final round of qualifying - was held at UEFA's headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
The 20 remaining sides with aspirations of competing in Europe's showpiece competition learned their opponents, with some tasty matchups being presented as the balls were pulled from their respective pots.
Here are the ties that will determine the final 10 sides to qualify for the tournament.
Champions route
- Ludogorets vs. Viktoria Plzen
- Celtic vs. Hapoel Beer-Sheva
- FC Copenhagen vs. APOEL
- Dundalk vs. Legia Warsaw
- Dinamo Zagreb vs. FC Salzburg
League route
- Steaua Bucharest vs. Manchester City
- Porto vs. Roma
- Ajax vs. Rostov
- Young Boys vs. Borussia Monchengladbach
- Villarreal vs. Monaco
The first leg of the respective ties will take place Aug. 16 and 17, while the return legs are slated for Aug. 23 and 24.
